When we need leads it is because we need business. We need business only when we don’t have any or not enough anyway. That is too late to start generating leads as it takes a lead 45 to 60 days to close no matter how motivated they are. That is 6 to 8 weeks without closings. That is a long time to go without a commission check. The way to defeat the issue is to generate more leads than you think you may need.
Generating new leads while you are busy is just like planting seeds for the future of your business.
It is like people who wait to go grocery shopping the morning of Thanksgiving. It is a little late and we may want to have done some of the prep work before we needed the supplies.
Enough of the analogies for now.
If we need business in the future we better be generating leads now. If we are not generating new business we are wont have any reliable business in the future and without future business we are going to go through long periods of stagnation. Without new leads we are living in the past.
Don’t be late, be early and be often.
